The Gameday Gold team is comprised of broadcast journalists with a passion for sports. On the field, grass, hardwood or ice, Gameday Gold is there!
Our goal is to provide on-air updates, interviews, photos and blogs from marquee events. The Gameday Gold team covered Super Bowl XLV in North Texas and is providing Vikings, Gophers and Lynx coverage to our member stations. Thomas U. Tuttle
Thomas Tuttle is an accomplished author, journalist and broadcaster. As a co-owner of Gameday Gold Mr. Tuttle is a key financial and operational executive as well as a writer and part of our on-air team. Tom was a track and baseball standout at Northwestern University and is an avid sports fan and athlete and he is loyal to the world-renowned Jamaican track team on which his godson is a candidate to make the Jamaican Olympic team in the 400 meters. Mr. Tuttle supports numerous causes and serves on the board of the Hendrickson Foundation.
Larry Fitzgerald, Sr.
Larry has been a radio talk show host, sports writer, producer and commentator for over 34 years including being sports editor and columnist with the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder newspaper for 25 years. Larry has covered 32 Super Bowls and 25 NBA Finals. Larry is the father of NFL star Larry Fitzgerald, Jr. and Marcus Fitzgerald. Larry is the first sportswriter to cover his own son in a Super Bowl (XLIII). Larry founded the Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund in 2003 and has raised over $1 Million for Breast Cancer-HIV-& Urban Education.
Eric is co-host of Gameday Gold‘s weekly sports talk show and will be part of the future Gameday Globe travel show. Eric is also a sports talk host at WCCO Radio and ESPN St. Cloud. Eric has covered the NFL since the 1980′s and has covered 19 Super Bowls. Eric has done sports talk, play by play and television. Eric is a football junkie who overdoses on the NFL each season. Eric is from Southern California and his passions are playing flag football on Minnesota’s frozen tundra, travelling and fitness.
Jonathan is a Kansas City transplant to the Twin Cities. He brings several years of media experience (across several facets of the industry) to the team. His main contribution is the mixmaster that selects the majority of music for the weekly GDG broadcast. He also throws in his two cents every so often.
Scott Taylor has been in the sports media business in Canada for more than 40 years writing, doing play by play, editing and hosting. He is also the author of 6 books in the sports arena. His angle on the sports world is well written and insightful.
Gary started his career shooting action photography during the late eighties in his native Southern California. He brings several years of media experience covering a vast array of sporting events across the U.S. He is a producer, photographer and webmaster of gamedaygold.com.
