Twins Take a Step Back

Segment 2: The AL Central has stayed tight, with the Twins now in a position they haven’t experienced since mid-May…chasing.  The guys look at another head-scratching homestand for the team.  Can they stay in the chase for the postseason…or the division?

Can’t Take the Heat?  Try a Little Ice.

Segment 3: We know it gets hot in the American Southwest, but even this week has been ridiculous.  Eric and Larry discuss the record-setting heat wave across (and beyond) the Desert.  Then, are the Vegas Golden Knights going to be good for the NHL?

More Draft Night Repercussions

If it’s early June, then it’s time for our hosts to part…temporarily.  Eric is in the Downtown Minneapolis studio this week, while Larry is out in Oakland to cover the NBA Finals.  The guys take a look at Game 1 of the series, which turned out well for Golden State.  They also dive into the sudden popularity of the dynamic Warriors, and we hear Game 1 reaction from Cavs forward Kevin Love and NBA.com writer Steve Aschburner.  But it’s not just about hoops.  GDG’s Scott Taylor joins the proceedings to break down the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final.  Plus, the Twins and Lynx hope to continue their winning stretches as they both head West over the weekend.
